The year was 2014 - I was at The Sound Table having a meal with a buddy who'd come into town for House in the Park when I suddenly spotted (out of the corner of my eye) THE most serious mohawk I had ever seen. As is always the case when something or someONE catches my photographic eye, I took the direct approach; walked over, introduced myself and was officially introduced to Q. I remember thinking at that moment "I have GOT to capture her originality". Although I never captured the 'hawk, Q remains a focal point in any crowd.
