One of the most (if not THE most) culturally vibrant regions of Brazil, Salvador de Bahia is a coastal city founded in 1549 - the capital at the height of the slave trade. As a result Afro-Brazilian culture is prominent in this region and celebrated through music, literature, and tradition. We will be immersing ourselves in all aspects of the culture as well as learn (and interact) with various residents of Bahia.
Be ready for beautiful scenery, architecture, and most importantly the beautiful people of Salvador de Bahia as we explore the different areas of the city (and some surrounding areas).

Once all buy-ins are received, attendees will be added to a private page where details, payment schedule, etc will be outlined. We provide our own airfare (I will keep everyone informed of flight deals).
Total post-deposit fees will be $1500 (payable in 3 payments of $500)
Fees include accommodations for 7 nights, breakfast each morning, transport to/from airport, tours (and transport to/from tours), lunch and/or dinner on select days, and a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
***Reminder: this is a PHOTOGRAPHY retreat for those in the field (whether professional, semi-professional, or hobbyist). As such, there will be photography-based challenges throughout the week of the trip. I created the IAP Retreats for us to learn from one another, expand upon our current skills, and above all to spark our creativity/inspiration.
